Should I Get My Nose Pierced?

Nose Piercing Quiz

A facial piercing is a sign of a bold character. It's been around for centuries, and nose piercings are fashionable among both females and males. You should be fully informed about the dangers and obstacles that may arise from piercing your nose. The reason you should get your nose pierced, however, is determined by your priorities.

How do I know if a nose piercing will suit me?
The appearance of a nose stud is enhanced by any sort of clothing, Indian or western. One fantastic benefit of buying nose piercings is that you may wear one in any occasion without having to worry about what kind of clothes you'll wear with it. Hoops are more appealing when your face is narrow and long. A broad nose would not complement them.

Should I pierce my nose left or right?
There are so many things to think about when selecting which side of your nose you'll pierce, but ultimately, it all boils down to personal taste. There is no option that is inherently better than another. It's up to you whether you pierce them on the left or the right; as long as you're happy with the side you choose, that's all that matters.

What can you not eat after a nose piercing?
Using an Ayurvedic antiseptic on a regular basis after piercing your nose for at least two weeks is always recommended. Before applying the ointment, wash your hands. Also, avoid eating sour fruit for a week to accelerate healing and prevent infection.

The first step is to decide which piercing you want. If you choose to pierce your nose, you must first select the type of nose piercing that appeals to you most. In every respect, they are different from one another. Which kind of nose piercing do you prefer: nostril, septum, or a bridge-style pierce? What sort of nose is ideal for getting pierced? The following are some examples of different types of nose piercings.

Nostril

What part of your nose should you pierce? Decide whether you want to pierce your left nostril or the right one. It should be fully healed in two months.

Septum

This will entail the columella, which is the space between your cartilage and tip of your nose. Septum piercing scars typically heal in 6 to 8 weeks.

Bridge

A bridge piercing is done through the skin above your nose's bridge. The healing time for a bridge piercing is between 8 and 12 weeks.

Nasallang

This type is highly technical since it involves both nostrils and the columella. It will take four to six months to recover.

High Nostril

Which nostril should I pierce? You don't have to choose because this piercing style is best done near the traditional nostril position. Healing can take anywhere from 2 to 4 months, depending on how deep you go and what jewelry you use (usually just above the traditional nostril spot).

Vertical Nose Tip

It starts at the tip of the nose and goes all the way to its top. This is also a challenging and technical procedure. It takes the longest time to heal, but it should be fully healed in 6 to 9 months.
